Announcement: Jerilyn Dressler is leaving Distress Centre

Together and on behalf of Distress Centre Calgary’s Board of Directors, we would like to announce that Jerilyn Dressler is leaving her role as Executive Director effective June 25 to pursue another leadership opportunity within the sector. The Board of Directors wants to extend their profound appreciation and thanks for Jerilyn’s leadership at Distress Centre.
Distress Centre is truly a different organization than it was four years ago, shaped by Jerilyn’s commitment to people: our clients, volunteers, employees and stakeholders. Her passion for the vision of the organization, her focus on a growth mindset and her enabling leadership has created an organization that is prepared and able to take on the challenges of today and tomorrow.
Together with Jerilyn and Distress Centre’s Leadership Team, the Board of Directors is exploring options to fill the Executive Director role upon Jerilyn’s departure.
