Safety planning guide
Safety planning can be incredibly useful for managing thoughts of self-harm and suicide.
At Distress Centre, our goal is to provide coping mechanics and distractions that can help individuals get through intense moments of crisis and hold on until help arrives.
Dcc training
DCC Training equips participants through knowledge building and skill development to provide vital support to those in need.
DCC Training is tailored to empower participants to offer assistance to individuals facing emotional distress, mental health challenges, and crisis situations.
Community information Exchange
The Community Information Exchange makes it easier for services to work together by using shared tools, a common resource database, and secure technology. This helps create a smoother, easier experience for people who need support, so they spend less time navigating the system and more time getting the help they need.
DCC K-Hub
The Distress Centre Calgary Knowledge Hub (DCC K-Hub) is a three-year research partnership with the University of Calgary Faculty of Social Work aimed at improving crisis response services. It focuses on creating person-centered, impactful, and relational solutions through an inclusive and culturally relevant service model.
WITH YOUR SUPPORT NO ONE HAS TO FACE CRISIS ALONE.
We want you to know that your donation is currently supporting someone in crisis. Thank you for your contributions.
