Furthering professional development

We believe in launching careers. That’s why we view practicum students as a great asset to our organization. We offer practicum opportunities year-round in our Crisis Line and Counselling programs*, and other opportunities may also be available. We welcome students from a wide variety of backgrounds.  

If you’re interested in a practicum at Distress Centre, please submit your resume, cover letter, references, and program requirements (school you’re attending, number of hours required, timeframe, and any other relevant information) to practicum@distresscentre.com.
