Have your donation to ConnecTeen matched up to 50% with Rogers Birdies for Kids

Rogers Birdies for Kids presented by Altalink is on! Increase your impact for youth in our community by donating and having it matched up to 50%! Your donation through Birdies for Kids goes to our ConnecTeen program, a confidential and free peer support service for youth in Calgary and Southern Alberta. We offer support by phone, text, chat and email. Throughout its history, ConnecTeen has supported children as young as 8 years old to young adults aged 24.

In 2023, there were 4,177 phone, text and chat connections directed to ConnecTeen. 59% of these connections were through text. Some of the most common reasons for reaching out include: suicide ideation, parent/child relationships, family relationships, anxiety, and depressed mood.

Youth-to-youth support is available from 3-10pm on weeknights and 12-10pm on weekends.
